Ere Research presents custom time trial wheels for green jersey winner Biniam Girmay

Ere Research proudly unveils a custom wheelset of the Genus AE92-D and the Genus AE00-D to celebrate the victory of the green jersey in the Tour de France. This exclusive design is inspired by Biniam Girmay's jersey and combines the latest design of the TT wheels with the green of Wanty's sprint winner.

In early 2024, the collaboration between Intermarché-Wanty and Ere Research was announced, with Ere developing new time trial wheels for the World Tour team. After several podium finishes in the spring and a third place in the Belgian Time Trial Championship preceding the Tour, the collaboration has been successful so far. "This partnership allows us to further develop our products to the highest level, thanks to the feedback from the world's best cyclists," said Piet van der Velde, founder of Ere Research.

Since the Tour de France will not end with a sprint stage in Paris for the first time since its inception in 1903 but with a time trial, Ere Research has the opportunity to honor the three-time stage winner from Eritrea.
