Ere proudly presents their all-new Genus wheel collection on Velofollies 2023 in Kortrijk, Belgium. The new Genus wheels are thoroughbred performance wheels, which are made for competition and will not disappoint in terms of weight, stiffness, aerodynamics and design.

With the choice of three rim height selections - 30, 45 and 65mm - and its 21mm inner rim width, there’s enough choice of weaponry for the right race course. Our brand new 2:1 spoke ratio Panama hubs come with a 36-star ratchet freehub body, ready for Shimano, Campagnolo and Sram. Panama hubs are set up with SKF bearings but can be retrofitted with ceramic speed bearings as well. On top of that, Ere managed to get the weight down to only 264 grams for the rear hub and 131 grams for the front hub.

The wheel manufacturer takes it even a step further and offer the choice of either ordering Genus wheels with the trusted Sapim CX Ray spokes or with their own Ere Aeris full carbon spokes. The last choice will save you 25 grams on each wheel.

The Genus wheels are incredibly strong, durable, stiff and lightweight - the best in their class. With a rider’s weight of 130 kg, they can serve anyone without constraints. And next to function, you'd certainly want a wheelset that looks great. The first thing you'll notice is the striking design. The lines on the full carbon rims are inspired by the famous guitar of rockstar Eddy van Halen.

Visit booth 335 at Velofollies, Kortrijk to see them for yourself and experience how light they are. The wheels will soon be available on www.ereresearch.com or at an Ere dealer nearby.
