The 29-year-old Dutchman has signed a multi-year deal and will play a central role in further developing the team’s sporting ambitions over the coming years. With this signing, the team continues to expand its long-term commitment to cyclocross.

Stefan Herrmann, Team Manager of the Heizomat CUBE Cyclocross Team: “Joris is an excellent fit for us as a team, both in terms of his athletic goals and his personality. He has consistently proven himself in international racing. By joining forces, we are taking the next step in developing our team.”

Over the past few years, the Heizomat CUBE Cyclocross Team has steadily built a strong reputation on the international stage. The continued collaboration with long-standing technical partners such as Schwalbe and Newmen provides a solid foundation, which is further strengthened by the arrival of Nieuwenhuis as the team looks to close the gap to the sport’s leading teams.

Marcus Pürner, Owner of CUBE Bikes: “We see our involvement in cyclocross as a long-term commitment. Riders like Joris not only deliver results, but also provide valuable feedback from racing at the highest level. These insights help us to further refine our products.”

Joris Nieuwenhuis is looking forward to the new challenge: “Heizomat-CUBE is the new chapter I was looking for. The team is growing every year and feels like the right environment for me. After a few conversations, it quickly became clear that we share the same long-term ambitions. I am really looking forward to working closely with the team and with CUBE.”

The decision to enter into a multi-year collaboration stands for continuity, clear sporting development and a shared vision. With the signing of Nieuwenhuis, CUBE and Heizomat reaffirm their long-term commitment to international cyclocross.
